Rocco Lucente II

Rocco Lucente, II was born and raised in Western New York, graduated from Canisius High School and Canisius College, and obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association. He has been a member of Cohen & Lombardo, P.C. since 1986.

Rocco’s areas of concentration include business, lending and real estate law. His understanding of these areas comes not only from representing various businesses, lending institutions, purchasers, sellers, and developers, but also from his experience as a business owner and general contractor for various construction projects including a plaza, apartment buildings and even his own home. His broad spectrum of experience has been invaluable to Cohen & Lombardo’s clients.

Rocco is counsel to over 100 businesses ranging from small, single-shareholder corporations, to large, multi-dimensional corporations. He additionally represents numerous limited liability companies, sole proprietorships, partnerships and several internationally-renowned clients. Rocco takes a great pride in helping businesses maximize their potential.

Additional areas of concentration include trusts and estates and civil litigation. Rocco has represented a nationally known commercial lending institution in connection with commercial loans since 1998. He has been certified to act as Guardian ad Litem in Erie County Surrogate’s Court for infants, unknown heirs and adults under disability. Rocco’s very first litigation matter resulted in the trial court’s decision being upheld by New York State’s highest court, the Court of Appeals, resulting in new law. Rocco’s dedication and diligence have served Cohen & Lombardo’s nationwide litigation clients well. Professional recognitions include recently being chosen as one of the top 3% of attorneys from around the nation by “The Legal News.” Rocco is also listed in “Who’s Who of America” and has been elected a “Super Lawyer” from 2012 through the present.

Rocco, his wife Linda, and their two children, Lauren and Chase, make their home in the Town of Clarence. They are also Parishioners of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Clarence.

In addition to being Managing Partner here at Cohen and Lombardo, P.C., Rocco is a Fellow of the New York State Bar Foundation, past President of the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc., former Member and President of the Eastern Hills Sunrise Rotary Club, and former Member and Chairman of the Canisius College Board of Regents.
