William Justyk is native of Western New York, having been born and raised in Lewiston. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1998 and Albany Law School of Union University in 2004. After graduating law school, William moved to Seattle, where he practiced law since 2004. William returned home to Buffalo in 2021 and joined Cohen & Lombardo, P.C. in 2022. William is admitted to practice law in New York and Washington.


Since joining the firm, William has represented clients in purchases, sales, and financing of residential and commercial real estate by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and leases, managing due diligence requests, resolving title insurance issues, and coordinating closings. William also helps businesses with corporate matters by forming not-for-profit corporations and limited liability companies, drafting bylaws, operating agreements and other corporate documents, and with purchases, sales, and financing of business assets. William also represents clients with trademark registration and maintenance.


William also has experience representing condominium and homeowner associations, residential landlords, and residential and commercial tenants. William has successfully resolved disputes addressing property rights, corporate governance, condominium and homeowner association assessments, fair housing, amendments to covenants/CC&R’s, and landlord/tenant issues. William has also represented small businesses in the beverage industry by providing advice around licensing and regulatory compliance, business formation, trademarks, and commercial real estate.


In his spare time, William enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on his home, cooking, trying new restaurants and wineries, exploring the outdoors, traveling, sports, and volunteering in the community.
