Kelly and Daniel Connors welcomed Daniel Francis Connors on June 20, 2014, Lauren and James Nash welcomed Colin Reed Nash on May 26, 2014, and Kylie and Christopher Poole welcomed Whitney Ann Poole on March 27, 2014. It has been a busy summer.

MARYANN SACCOMANDO FREEDMAN was honored by the New York Law Journal with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Highlighted were Maryann becoming the first female President of the New York State Bar Association in 1987-1988, the New York Bar Foundation from 1997-2000 as well as the Erie County Bar Association in 1981-1982.

KATHERINE J. BESTINE was listed among Buffalo’s Legal Elite of Western New York Lawyers by Buffalo Business First. Although there are over 3,000 attorneys in Western New York, Katherine was one of 17 of our community’s legal leaders and 144 members of a fraternity of attorneys who have earned the right to be called “elite” Business First.

ROCCO LUCENTE was asked to be Vice Chair/Chairman-Elect of the Canisius College Board of Regents. The Board of Regents is comprised of individuals of distinction in their field who serve as ambassadors of the College and as an advisory board to the College President.

JIM NASH and his wife Lauren were co-chairs of the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund luncheon held on October 9, 2014, at the Buffalo Convention Center. The luncheon was held to raise scholarship money enabling less privileged children to obtain a private education. Over 800 attended and it was the most successful luncheon held by the organization in its 20 years of existence. The BISON Fund exceeded its fundraising goal by over 40 percent.

ERIN E. COLE was married on November 8, 2014. Erin’s husband Seth Molisani is an Assistant District Attorney. Please join us in wishing Erin and Seth joy and happiness throughout their marriage.
