DANIEL CONNORS has been elected President of the Niagara Frontier Lacrosse Officials Association (NFLOA). Mr. Connors has been a member for 18 years. Association members consist of high school, college, international, and professional lacrosse officials. In 2007 Dan was the recipient of the organization’s Outstanding Official Award. As a trial lawyer, Dan believes there are many parallels between trial work and officiating games, such as using good judgment, applying rules, and making quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
JAMES NASH’S successful defense of a property developer, who was accused of violations of the Clean Water Act, was the subject of a write-up in the journal of the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Nash succeeded in having the case dismissed after a one week trial in Federal Court when he convinced the Court that the plaintiffs’ claims had no merit.

ROCCO LUCENTE has been named to Strathmore’s Who’s Who Registry of Global Professionals for the second consecutive year.

KATHERINE BESTINE has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Kenmore-Tonawanda Meals on Wheels.

The latest issue of Top 100 Business Magazine also features write-ups on MARYANN SACCOMANDO FREEDMAN, KATHERINE BESTINE, ROCCO LUCENTE, and all of whom were named to their list of the top 100 lawyers in New York State.
